Legacy Gives
Mission
The mission of Legacy Gives Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3, is to provide scholarships to graduating minority high school students, offer mentorship throughout their collegiate experience & giving back to our community. We take pride in providing recipients with the academic & financial resources needed to succeed beyond just their first semester of college. We strive to assist in creating a family oriented support system for each & every recipient who joins the Legacy.
Vision
My vision for Legacy Gives Inc. is to create an environment among the scholarship recipients and community of giving back and lending support to the generations following us. This will transpire through taking care of students who are recipients, but also helping mold their character to where they are pillars of their community. From the inception in Grand Rapids the other side of Michigan in Detroit, and all the way to our neighboring city of Chicago – leaving a Legacy all with every life we impact.

Founder
Manny Campbell
A Grand Rapids native and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Graduate, Manny fell in love with the city of Chicago at a young age. His mother, father, and most of his family hail from Chicago and has spent many years tied to the Windy City. After graduating from U of I with a Financial Planning degree, Manny worked in corporate america until he stepped away to chase his dream and play professional baseball. From there he has started his own business, non-profit, and created his own path.
